Vans has glorified as one of the best brands in skateboarding history due to its commitment to the culture of the industry. Not to mention, they were the first shoe designed specifically for skateboarders. They have always been able to resonate with skate culture while also bring something new and unique to the table. From epic collaborations, to heavy video parts, Vans never seems to disappoint. One of their most popular collaborations was with George Lucas studios for the Vans x Star Wars collection in 2014. Since March of 2021, we have been curating the most notable clips in skateboarding week by week. This year was fucking insane to say at the least but it was filled was tons of clips will make you either smile from ear to ear or leave you with your jaw dropped looking like a 12 year old boy who just saw his first pair of tits.
Earlier this month, on September 4th, we hosted the first annual Andy Kessler Memorial Skate Contest at the Montauk skatepark. The contest was designed to honor Andy's contributions to the Montauk Skateboarding community and skate culture as a whole so that his legacy lives on with the future generations of skateboarders to come.
Already Been Done lists; many have tried, few have succeeded. And yet we decided to give it a shot cause fuck it, why not? We got the time and the technology to do it. Instead of having to remember those extensive lists of tricks done at skate spots, we built a resource that allows skaters to easily search a database of videos and trick names.
